Gambia: Zibah Nursery and Primary Holds Prize Giving Day

Zibah Nursery and Primary School Saturday held its annual speech and prize giving ceremony for its graduating nursery and primary school pupils. The ceremony was held at the Nusrat Senior Secondary School Campus in Bundung.

The proprietress of the school, Adepe Dara, said the graduating class will continue to blossom in the next academic year both in Zibah School and at their new academic environments. She remarked that the foundation for the success of the pupils has already been laid and all they need is to build on it.

Dara said that for a child to succeed in life he/she must have a sound educational background, and that is exactly what Zibah School gives to the children. She further remarked that the educational ethos at the Zibah School is to prepare the children for present and future challenges.

She told the pupils that this is a new beginning for them and they ought to remember that they are stepping into a new phase of life in which she believes they are endowed with the wherewithal with which to succeed and excel.

The guest speaker of the occasion, Pastor Olatunji Shittu, vice principal of West African International School (WAIS), said Zibah is one of the best schools in the country due to the fact that they produce quality students every year.
