Angola: Veterans to Sing in Muzongué DA Tradição On Sunday

Luanda — The veteran singers, comprised by former artists of Jovens do Prenda group will perform on Sunday on August 4 at Muzongué da Tradição programme, set for Luanda's Kilamba Cultural and Recreational Centre.

According to manager of the venue, Estêvão Costa, the invitation made to former members of the band aims at answering the fans demands who are eager to listen live greatest hits that marked and continue to thrill the history of national music hall.

Musicians Augusto Chacaia and Dom Caetano, two main lead singers of the band, will also perform on Sunday.

The band was founded in 1968 and named Jovens do Catambor with Manuelito Maventa, Zeca Kaquarta, Napoleão and Juca.

The Musongué da Tradição is a programme that began in February 2007 and aims at promoting, disseminating and exploiting the Angolan music produced in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
