South Africa: IFP On U.S. Middle East Peace Talks

press release

The Obama Administration, the Israel Cabinet and the Palestinian Authority must be commended and encouraged for the latest positive steps to put the Middle East peace process back on track.

IFP Spokesperson on International Relations, Mr Ben Skosana MP said, "We want to applaud Mr John Kerry's efforts in organising the peace talks to take place in Washington DC and the Israeli Cabinet for releasing more than a hundred Palestinian prisoners and others. Furthermore, efforts made by the Palestinian Authority for agreeing to participate in peace talks. All these efforts need much appreciation by all who desire a stable and peaceful Middle East region.

"It is hoped that the US procedural work plan will include salient elements from the 2002 Arab Peace Initiative," concluded Skosana.
