Tunisia: 'Any Harm to National Army Is Assault On the People and the Homeland' - Prime Ministry

Tunis — The Prime Ministry condemned on Tuesday the "heinous crime" committed against 8 soldiers in Mount Chaambi, as they accomplish their duty in the defence of the homeland and the protection of the Revolution of dignity and freedom.

"Any harm to the national army is an assault to the people and the homeland", the Prime Ministry asserted in a statement. In this connection, it paid a heartfelt tribute to the military forces for their devotion and their selflessness in the service of the national unity and the fight against terrorism, commending the role of the military institution in "the edification of the state of independence and the protection of the Revolution of freedom and dignity." On this occasion, the Prime Ministry expressed sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs and compassion to the three wounded, wishing them prompt recovery.
