Tunisia: Martyred Soldier Maher Guesmi Buried At Sidi Abbes Cemetery in Ghardimaou

Jendouba — The funeral of Corporal Maher Guesmi, martyr of the National Army and Tunisia, heinously assassinated by terrorists in MountChaambi on Monday, took place Tuesday at the cemetery of Sidi Abbes in Ghardimaou, Jendouba.

The moving funeral was held in the presence of army units of the garrison of Jendouba and local police, national guard and civil defence officers.

Abdelmajid Guesmi, father of martyr Maher, a retired military said with great emotion that despite the disaster he was very proud of his martyred son.

The body of Corporal Maher Guesmi was carried by helicopter from the regional hospital of Kasserine to Jendouba then transferred by ambulance to the family home in Ghardimaou.
