Ilorin — The Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) governorship candidate in Kwara state, Alhaji Mohammed Dele Belgore has described the registration of All Progressives Congress (APC) as "a new dawn to Nigeria's democratic experiment".

"It is a victory for the people of Nigeria who have long clamoured for the coming together of progressive opposition parties to end the years of disrespect for popular wish, executive lawlessness, corruption and widespread poverty, irrespective of the fact that the country is richly blessed with fertile land and huge human potentials", Belgore said in a statement by his media aide, Rafiu Ajakaye.

According to him, the APC would further strengthen "our collective efforts" to end the Kwara's "peculiar politics of underdevelopment, poverty and self-aggrandisement".
