Kasbah — Prime Minister Ali Larayedh had on Tuesday a phone talk with French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, during which the latter presented his condolences to Tunisia in his name and on behalf of France, following the terrorist attack killing eight soldiers at Mount Chaambi.
Mr. Fabius asserted France's condemnation of this terrorist act, the Prime Ministry reported on Wednesday.
The two ministers discussed Tunisia's current situation and the progress of the democratic process, the same source specifies.
Mr. Larayedh affirmed on the occasion, the government's keenness to carry on this process and make a success of it, by keeping the National Constituent Assembly and speeding up its works to finish off the transitional phase as soon as possible.
Fight against terrorism, guarantee of social security and efficiently handle economic and social issues are the government's priorities, Mr. Ali Larayedh assured, pointing out the government's opening on all constructive initiatives.
For his part, the French FM asserted France's support to the success of the transition process and to the National Constituent Assembly action, expressing wish that dialogue will be the means to reach compromises.
