Angola: Commercial Network Under Re-Organisation

Luanda — The Ministry of Commerce has embarked on a process of re-organisation of the country's outlet network which involved the implementation of the New Digital Platform of the SILAC-Integrated System of Licensing of Commercial Activity, Angop learned Thursday in Luanda.

The information is contained in a Press release from the Ministry of Commerce (MC).

According to the source, the process will culminate with the issue of the New Commercial Licence which is a quicker, easier, cheaper issuing and safer document.

Meanwhile, the MC informs that in order for the process to be started, an inspection will be done to all commercial outlets to check their technical, health, security and organisation condition.

According to the source, the costs of the licences for sales and services will range from as much as Akz 350,000 (about Usd 3,500) per year to Akz 10,000, depending on the size and category of the shop.
