Lisbon — Angola's Health minister, José Van-Dúnem, travelled on Wednesday to Coimbra and Oporto cities, Portugal, as part of his visit to areas possible of co-operation, at the invitation of the local colleague, George Macedo, Angop learnt.
In Coimbra, the minister will tour the telemedicine unity, where he will witness a simulation show and learn about the pharmaceutical personnel and medicine and information technology in the health sector.
In Oporto, the minister will be briefed on computing solutions to the assistance to the clinical management for urgent and intensive medicine care.
On Thursday, the official will tour some clinical services, such as the radiotherapy area of the Portugues oncology institute of Oporto.
The minister will also learn about ongoing projects in Angola in the institute of hygiene and tropical medicine.
Minister José Van-Dúnem is since Tuesday in Portugal to survey areas for co-operation.
