Angola: Police Told to Ensure Social Security

Lubango — The National Police as part and parcel of the State administration must work to ensure the necessary public security. This was said Wednesday in Lubango, southern Huila province by the local governor, João Marcelino Tyipinge.

The governor was speaking at the opening of the first meeting between the staff of the National Police and representatives of the civil society, convened to analyse the situation of crime and public security.

On the occasion, the governor said that this thinking is crucial is the corporation is to attain the rescue of moral and civic values and get the participation of the society in the fight against crime.
