Cameroon: MINJEC Administrative Procedure Manual Project Launched

The project for the drafting of the Administrative Procedure Manual for the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education was officially launched in Yaounde yesterday July 31, 2013.

Speaking at the opening, the Inspector General in the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, Augustin Claude Tang Essomba, called on participants to share their expertise on inventory of services and administrative procedures in force in the ministry in order to adapt to the new mission of the ministry which is to put in place strategies for the socio-economic integration of youths, the promotion of civic education and the consolidation of national integration.

The document will define the role of the workers in the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education in the treatment of files as well as providing useful information needed by the different users of public services. The project is in five phases and is expected to run for two years.
