Angola: Church Leader Speaks of Women Conquests

Luanda — Women have already conquered victories in many Africa countries, especially in Angola, where there are examples of dignity and conquests, says the leader of the Spiritual Theosophical Church, Suzeth João.

She said so while speaking to the press, under the celebrations of the African Woman Day, July 31The church official also said many women of the continent have been gaining space in the world, despite the fact that in some countries the process is slow as they are submitted and on financial dependence.

On other hand, she regretted the practice of incision as a violations of human rights and called on the authorities to adopt measures to put an end to this evil.

She also defended that women must be integrated in the labour market, in co-operatives, schools, in order to occupy their time and avoid practices such as prostitution and drug consumption.
