Angola: Regional Conference Debates Domestic Violence

Luanda — The 7th Regional Conference of the Association of the Baptists Women of Central Africa aims at eradicating domestic violence and road accidents that are a relevant cause deaths in Africa.

This was said Wednesday in Luanda by the chairwoman of the mentioned association, Joina Dhlula.

She said so on the fringes of the opening of the 7th Regional Conference taking place between from July 31 and August 6.

On the occasion, she reiterated the concern of the organisation in praying God for a lasting and effective peace and well being for everyone.

She also said that the Association of African Women has been praying to put an end to evils like hunger, ignorance, prostitution, homicides, sexual abuse, witchcraft and drug consumption.

The conference is debating matters as such as Christian woman and her leadership in modern times, preventive health in the family and how to deal with cancerous illnesses, domestic violence, the Christian woman and her role in the society and other.
