Angola: Bishop Happy With Angolan Participation in World Youth Activities

Luanda — The Luanda assistant bishop and the head of CEAST Youth Commission, Zeca Martins, considered Thursday here positive and qualitative participation of Angola in 23rd round of the World Youth Activities on 23-28 July in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Speaking to Angop at Luanda's "4 de Fevereiro" International Airport during the arrival of the Angolan delegation, Bishop Zeca Martins said that the participation of enthusiastic Angolan youth in the event was marked by the meeting between the Pope Francis and about 3.5 million pilgrims from various part of the world.

The preacher said that the event represented a great experience, due to availability of youth in participating in the activities, listening to the message of the Pope Francis, who urged them to evangelize other young people.
