Gambia: More Messages for President Jammeh

The Gambian leader, His Excellency Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr. Yahya Jammeh, continues to receive more goodwill messages from Gambians and non-Gambians alike, congratulating him on his developments, the July 22nd Revolution celebrations, as well as his philanthropism.

Below are the messages:

Your Excellency, As we once more are given the opportunity by the Almighty God to mark another anniversary of the memorable event of the 22nd July Revolution in The Gambia, it give me utmost pleasure to send you this sincere congratulatory message for nineteen years of success for the Revolution. Since you took over the reins of this country in 1994 without spilling a drop of blood, Gambians have had no cause for regret. Instead, we wholeheartedly applaud you for all the development you have brought to the people, especially in the areas of Education, Health Agriculture and infrastructure. May The Good god continue to bless, protect and uphold all your endeavors for this country. Mr. President, your stance for the welfare of this nation, especially in ensuring that peace and security prevails, and also that the right to affordability of need for the majority is not being trespassed upon by some unscrupulous few, has not gone unnoticed. For this and for fearless way you have always stood up and spoken out to defend and protect the sovereignty of The Gambia, we express gratitude. May our Almighty Father continue to give you his guidance and protection. Your Excellency, since this year's 22nd July Revolution Anniversary has again coincided with the Ramadan, please allow me to seize this opportunity to wish you a blessed Ramadan Mubarak. May The Almighty Allah give you the physical and spiritual strength you need to carry out all your obligations during this Holy month of Ramadan. May all your gifts to this nation and your good acts during this period be blessed; and may God answer all your prayers, voiced and unvoiced. Mr. President, Sir, may I also congratulate you on the brilliant way you have represented The Gambia and Africa in recent international forums. You deserve to be hailed for your relentless pursuance of peace both nationally and internationally and have earned the title a true Pan-African Activist In conclusion, I add my prayers to all those offered on the occasion of this 19th Anniversary. May God accept and bless all our prayers offered for, the First Family, the APRC party and The Gambia. Dear Sir, We acknowledge the receipt of your letter dated 23th April on the above subject. Even though we only received the letter on the 29th June. Hence the reasons for our late reply to the letter. Your Excellency we cannot express how truly happy and appreciative we were, after receiving the news of your intervention in solving our plight that we continue to faced at Tonaitaba with regards to our rice fields (1.e access roads, Aquatic weeds invasion and Tractor). We also confirmed the visit of Honourable Minister of Agriculture to our rice fields. We later came to understood that, this was as result of an executive directive as per the letter that was copied to us and received last week.

Your Excellency on behalf of the council of elders, the "Sosolaso" Women Association, the village Development Committee and the youth Development Association, we would like to thank you most profoundly for your timely intervention, and promise that, the items we are about to receive will be put into good use for the benefit of the targeted group and entire village as a whole.

Simllarly under the directives from the council of elders, the "Sosolaso" Women Association The VDC, and the Youth Development Association, we would like to invite Your Excellency to the village in September during your meet the people's tour, on a special visit in order to see what we do in response to the back to the land clarion call. I am quite hopeful that you will be truly impressed about our initiatives.
