GOSPEL artiste Kings "Malembe Malembe" Mumbi last Sunday thrilled Ndola gospel music fans when he and the royal family ministered during a family and friends Sunday morning church service at Peoples Pentecostal Assembly of God Church in Itawa.
Kings, who was backed by fellow gospel Rhumba artiste papa Bruno and a live band, performed a series of hits from his latest album "No Retreat, his second release "Pye Pye Pye" and first collection "Government".
Before Malembe's arrival, the stage was set alight by the church youth choir which ministered in songs of worship as the gathering anticipated what would turn out to be a mammoth time of praise and worship.
Kings opened the floor with No retreat no Surrender which is the title track of his newly released album and the song was greeted with jubilation and ululation from the crowd who remained in a visibly joyous mood throughout the service.
Malembe also had a word of advice for Christians across the country, encouraging them never to lose hope remain focused in their quest to lead successful lives.
Those spoken to after the service by Times Entertainment after the service described Malembe's ministry as "a soul refreshing time".
