He said he will pick a provisional team of 24 players before cutting it down to final 12 for the Africa Cup of Nation tournament.

It is a clear signal that we have to work hard if we are to remain relevant," he said. Agala said it felt good to see upcoming players prove that what seasoned players can do, they can do even better.
She said veteran players can now rest assured that there are people to take volleyball to the next level incase they exit.

"It so humbling that the coach had faith in me and the fact that this is my first international match having cleared school recently. This assures me that with discipline and hard work, sky will is limit."
She added: "It feels good to play in the same team with my sister (Everlyne), and having fans shout your name when they rarely know you. It's just amazing."
