An assistant chief, Margaret Atwan Osia has been accused byresidents of indiscipline after she slapped Patrick Omenda, a local resident in full glare of the mourners. The residents had attended the burial of the late Michael Taabu.
Sources said Omeda had attempted to silence Osia who was allegedly drunk and was making noise that almost disrupted the ceremony. Omenda has said he will sue Osia for embarrassing and degrading him in full glare of the public.
