Egypt: SIS - Plan to Clarify What Happened On July 3 in Response to Demands of Masses

State Information Service (SIS) developed a plan to work on the external level aimed to clarify the reality of what happened on July 3, that came in response to the demands of the masses in the Egyptian street.

In a statement on what was raised about its role, external activities and communication with foreign correspondents issued on Wednesday 31/7/2013, the SIS said that the plan aimed at unifying media discourse directed to the foreigners together with a set of formulating media messages that reflect real events.

The SIS has been seen to create a direct communication channel with the officials to convey the latest developments to foreign media directly as well as to spread the media message that has been formulated and promoted through SIS press and information offices abroad.
