Gambia: 16 Year Old Boy Needs Help to Pay School Fees

Mr.Alasana Touray, a brilliant young fellow told Foroyaa that he has successfully completed his Grade 8 Class andis hoping to move to Grade 9 this year, but said his hopes and dreams would be dashed if he does not have somebody who would help him pay his fees.

Mr. Touray,who received applause from his teachers after the 2012/2013 academic year results describing his work as satisfactory, said he has no one to lean on to when it comes to paying his school expenses.

Mr.Muhammed Touray, father of Alasana Touray said because of his medical issues, he is often referred to the Tanka Tanka psychaitric Clinic.

Touray said he is afflicted with mental issues which deter him from paying his son's school fees and other family obligations and this is why he is appealing from all and sundry to help his son to complete his basic education. Alasana, 16years, who attends Charles Jow Memorial Academy, now 22 July Academy said his school fees for a term is D300.00 excluding book bills etc
