The Revival Restoration Centre (RRC) Assembly of God, Roman Ridge, Accra, was the venue for the Excellence in Leadership and Honorary Doctorate Awards Service, held in honour of Rev. Dr Alex Kweku Nkrumah, who is also the Resident Pastor.
Citation and conferment, robing and the presentation of certificates was by the Most Rev. Dr Godwin P. Davids, Chairman of the Global Centre of Transformational Leadership, and Bishop Henry Maxwell of the USA.
A profile of the Man of God, who hails from Breman Asantem in the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa District of the Central Region, was read by Rev. Robert Arhin.
Rev. Dr Nkrumah started his godly training from his childhood in the Methodist Church, where he received strict discipline.
While working as a trained auto mechanic, he was converted to Christ at the Ebenezer Assembly for God at Kotobabi in Accra, where he served as Interpreter and Prayer Leader.
In 1982, he responded to the call of fulltime ministry, and received much of his basic spiritual training at the Deliverance Assemblies of God at Pig Farm.
His unwavering faith, zeal and seriousness for the things of God have endeared him to many, and earned him the title, Apostle from his friends and colleagues.
Rev. Dr. Nkrumah graduated from the Southern Ghana Bible Institute, now College, with a Diploma in Theology in November 1999, and obtained Bachelor of Theology in 2002.
He received full scholarship for his Masters in Theology from the Conservative Theological University (CTU) in the USA in 2010.
Also in attendance were Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, Vice President of Ghana, as well as the clergy, friends, family, and church members.
The awards were instituted by the Global Centre for Transformational Leadership, in conjunction with the Pan African Clergy Council and Bible Seminary.
