Gambia international, Ali Sowe, is on form for his new club pre-season games. Acquired on loan from Serie A's Chievo Verona, the 18-year-old is showing signs of shouldering Juve-Stabia's back-breaking scoring burden as he scores three goals in three consecutive games. The former Gamtel goal-scorer is on a goal-grabbing mood, helping his second division side in a 3-3 stalemate against Perugia. Out-jumping his marker in the penalty box, the Scorpion met a team-mate's free-kick that beat past a helpless Perugia goalkeeper pulling a 3-2 result in the 44th minute.
Minutes from time, Perugia's Napolano denied Ali and co a much deserved victory forcing in a final 3-3 score. Ali Sowe joined Juve-Stabia on a year-loan deal from parent club Chievo in the hope to rake up more playing time and first team experience. Sowe's netted his first goal in Juve shirt on July 26th in the team's 5-0 win and the second coming on Monday in a 3-2 defeat. The goal ace is the first Gambian to put pen-to-paper with a Serie A outfit in January this year.
