The Imam of Lamin mosque has called on Muslims to endeavour and make the most of the last 10-days of the holy month of Ramadan by praying as much as possible especially at night saying, the period is full of rewards from the Almighty Allah. He said Allah (S.W.T) will accept the invocations of those who pray and ask for his forgiveness and protect them from hell fire.

Imam Arfat Sulayman Susso was speaking in an interview with this reporter at his house in Lamin village. He stressed the need for people to take advantage of the last 10-days of Ramadan and perform more late night prayers in order to earn the blessings of the Almighty Allah, saying he (Allah) will answer to all prayers as well as grant the faithfuls their wishes.

Imam Susso said Lailatul-Kadr (the night of power) that every muslim searches for during the holy month of Ramadan is within the last ten days of the month and that though the night is unknown it shall be found by those who become steadfast in their prayers during the last days as narrated by the Holy Prophet Muhammed (PBUH). He called on Muslims to perform more nafilats (non-obligatory prayer), recite the Holy Quran and solicit for their heart's desires from Allah. The Imam of Lamin mosque revealed that the Prophet (SAW) had the habit of waking up his entire family to pray for the whole night in the last ten days of Ramadan and seek for Allah's forgiveness. Imam Susso further urged Muslims to follow the footsteps of Prophet Muhammed PBUH.
