Egypt: Involving Children in Political Confrontations Is Severe Violation - State Information Service

Involving children in political confrontations is a severe violation of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child and a disregard for human rights treaties, said Ambassador Mohamed Badr al-Din Zayed, the State Information Service head.

The involvement of children in politics has not received adequate attention from international public opinion or from international human rights organizations, the Middle East News Agency reported Zayed as saying on Friday.
