Kenya: Edward Mule Yesse Free After 18 Months in Al-Shabaab Captivity

Nairobi — The mood at Edward Mule Yesse's home in Nairobi's Buru Buru estate was characterised by tears of joy, worship singing, hugging and feasting on roasted meat.

Mule, as he is known by his family and friends, was abducted January 11, 2012, when about 100 al-Shabaab fighters stormed the Administration Police camp at Gerile, in Kenya's Wajir South district, where he was posted as a district officer.
