WHEN does the picture fail to qualify as being worth a thousand words? The expression a picture is worth 1000 words is commonly used in the media houses and journalism institutions where the students are reminded about time and again.

I was indeed impressed by Professor of Pediatrics from Canada, Noni MacDonald, who recently cautioned us that it is not every picture that is worth a thousand words. She was advising the students that they have to examine the type of picture that they want to use in the poster.
