The Gambia Family Planning Association (GFPA) in partnership with United Nations Fund for Population Affairs (UNFPA) Friday concluded a three-day training programme for 130 Community Based Distributors at the Friendship Hostel at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
The training was designed amongst other things, to promote and generate more grassroots support for family planning in various regions of the country. It also aims to increase the availability of family planning contraceptive services to couples and individuals within the reproductive age group.
