Nigeria: Niger LG Spends N60m On Education, Health

Minna — Gbako Local Government Area of Niger State has spent over N60 million on the construction of primary school classrooms and public health facilities in 26 villages of the council, chairman of the area, Alhaji Ladan Idris, has said.

The chairman, while briefing newsmen in Minna said his council did not limit itself to education and health as other projects mostly rural electrification and construction of feeder roads were also executed. He said the electrification of Twatagi-Gana, Kalache Ndaiji, Yazhigi and Kuyaizhi communities at the cost of over N53.9 million is at completion stage.
