Egypt: Mursi Supporters Head to Defense Ministry, Military Intelligence HQ

Hundreds of pro-Mursi demonstrators made their way to the Defense Ministry and the military intelligence headquarters in Cairo on Friday afternoon.

The marches caused traffic jam in the Masr al-Gedida and Nasr City areas.

Supporters of ousted president Mohamed Mursi drove their cars in groups and headed to the military intelligence headquarters in Masr al-Gedida, the state news agency reported.

They held banners and pictures of Mursi to demand his return to power.

Pro-Mursi demonstrators also staged a march from the Rabaa al-Adaweya sit-in in Nasr City to the Defence Ministry headquarters.
