Eritrea: Adi-Tekelezan Sub-Zone - Stepped-Up Endeavors Being Exerted Towards Raising Poultry and Dairy Production

Adi-Tekelezan — The Agriculture Ministry's branch in Adi-Tekelezan sub-zone pointed out that stepped-up endeavors are being exerted towards raising poultry and dairy production.

Mr. Mes'ud Abdulkadir, animal husbandry expert in the locality, disclosed that there exist 52 dairy farmers who work as an Association and jointly own 220 breed of higher productivity. He further stated that the Association has been supplying around 10,000 liters of milk to the local market, while a number of chicks were distributed to 30 households so as to give impetus to domestic poultry production.
