Liberia: Senator Taylor Recieves Award From UMU

As the biblical saying goes, "whatsoever a man sows, so shall he reap". If this saying is true, then good seeds will always yield good harvest. This adage was true in the case of Senior Senator of Bong County Hon. Jewel Howard Taylor as she grabbed another award from the tenth graduating class of the United Methodist University on Friday the 9th of August.

The class night event, which brought together officials of the Senate and students of the graduating class, was held at the Samuel K. Doe (SKD) sports gymnasium where certificate for different categories were awarded to officials and personalities of high esteem.
For her part, the Bong County Senior Senator was recognized and honored for her active participation in enacting laws at the senior level. Describing Hon. Taylor as the best female lawmaker in the Senate, the graduating class expressed overwhelming confidence in Taylor saying that she has gone beyond the call of her mandate at the Senate by bringing a good and positive image to Liberian politics. The graduating class also recalled the moral and financial contributions made by Senator Taylor towards them achieving their goals.
