Ethiopia: Meseret, Buze, Ayana Qualifies in Women 5000 Meters Race

Meseret Defar, Buze Driba and Almaz Ayana have been qualified as they finish ahead of other runners involved in the qualification. Almaz Ayana came second in the first of the qualification race following a Kenyan. That made her comfortably qualified for the final race with 15:34፡93 time.

Meseret and Buze took the first and the second place in the second of the qualification race at a faster pace. Meseret concluded the race at 15:22:94 time, over 12 seconds faster than the first qualification race.

Team Ethiopia most probably brings in more silverware in the women 5000 meters run of the Moscow World Championships as it fields the best athletes in the distance.

In deed it was a very good performance by Team Ethiopia in the Women 5000 meters race. Over all Team Ethiopia gets three of its athletes qualified for the race to happen on Saturday 17 August 2013 at 5:55 PM.
