Sudan: Daughter Escapes, Militias Rape Mother in North Darfur

Kabkabiya — Four alleged pro-government militiamen wearing military uniforms raped a woman from camp Haiya Salam in North Darfur, after her daughter managed to escape. The victim is reportedly being treated in a hospital.

Mother and daughter, 46 and 26, were working on their farm located west of Kabkabiya when the perpetrators approached them, a camp's sheikh told Radio Dabanga.
