Benghazi — A Libyan journalist narrowly survived an assassination attempt in Benghazi on Monday (August 12th), the latest in a spate of unprecedented violence to strike the eastern city, AFP reported.
Khadija Al-Amami told Libya Herald that she was driving in Sidi Khrebish when a motorist pulled up beside her and started shooting. Al-Amami is the director of Libya Al-Ahrar TV's Benghazi office and also works for Libya Mostakbal.
