Liberia: Ellen Suspends Three Late-Comer Ministers - Indicts River Gee Supt Procurement Breach

President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Tuesday morning suspended for one month without pay three officials of the Labor Ministry for allegedly showing up late for work, and also extended similar punishment to the Superintendent of Rivergee County for reported breach of procurement laws.

The following is a press release issued last evening by the office of the president. "President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has suspended, effective immediately, the following officials of the Ministry of Labor who were absent from work when she visited their offices at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13.
