Kenya: DP Ruto to Attend Music Festivals Finale

Deputy President William Ruto is in Nakuru today to attend the finals of the 87th edition of the Kenya Music Festivals. Ruto was received by the Cabinet Secretary for Education Science and Technology Prof. Jacob Kaimenyi, the Principal Secretary State Department of Education Dr. Belio Kipsang and the chairman of the Kenya Music festival Mr. Peter Wanjohi.

The festival which is themed "Enhancing unity in Diversity", will see the 24 finalists make presentations in set pieces, original compositions, folk songs, dances, pop songs and melodies among others. The finalists were selected from a pool of other contestants in various schools in Nakuru where the music festivals have been running for a fortnight.
