Liberia: MYS Receives 11,000 Balls for Grassroots Football Development

Ministry of Youth and Sports (MYS) on Thursday, August 15, 2013 received a consignment of 11,000 size-4 and size-5 balls for the development of grassroots football in the country. The 11,000 balls are the first set of a 22,000 balls expected in the country.

The arrival of the balls is a result of a great networking partnership with Donomi Sports through its (Donami Sport) President and founder Doc Lawson. Mr. Lawson is a former American soccer star with a Liberian origin. Donami Sports is the promoter of the Young Man Christian Association (YMCA) promoter in the United States.
