Eritrea: Ministry's Commitment Regarding Human Resource Development Described Major Prerequisite in Development of Teaching-Learning Process

Asmara — Teachers who are upgrading their academic capacity in Asmara Community College of Education indicated that the Ministry of Education's commitment as regards human resource development is a major prerequisite in the development of the teaching-learning process. The teachers further expressed appreciation for the national endeavors of ensuring educational excellence and thereby nurturing dynamic youths.

Among the teachers, Mr. Awed Mohammed-Ali, Mr. Ali Ahmed, Ms. Bisrat Tewolde, Mr. Al-Amin Adem and Mr. Goitom Teferi expressed satisfaction with the educational opportunity, and called on the Ministry to exert stepped-up endeavors to this end.

Mr. Alem Gebrekal, Director of the Community College, pointed out that it is committed to promoting the competence of teachers and school directors.

Reports indicate that the number of such teachers who have joined diploma program in the community school stands at 150.
