Having spent the night inside the Fatah Mosque, many supporters of deposed president Mohamed Morsi were ushered outside Saturday after police troops formed a safe path for their exit.
Another group of Morsi's supporters are still taking shelter inside the mosque though. Security troops are trying to persuade them to get out of the mosque.
Morsi's supporters have been hiding inside the mosque since Friday afternoon following clashes between them and police troops in Ramsis.
Earlier Saturday, a medical team was allowed inside the mosque to move the injured to nearby hospitals.
