Nigeria: Women Builders Vow to Check Building Collapse

As building collapse becomes rampant in the country, women builders under the auspices of the Association of Professional Women Builders in Nigeria (APWBN) have vowed to address the problem if allowed to partake fully in construction works.

Speaking yesterday during their courtesy visits to the Bauchi Emir's palace and Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) Bauchi, national president, APWBN, Dr. Lami Kawu Muhammed, attributed the incessant collapse of buildings in the country to the activities of quacks and non-compliance with the national building policy.
