Nigeria: Retired High Court Judge in Kebbi Teaches in Primary Schools

Kebbi — A Retired High Court Judge in Kebbi state,Hon.Justice Zakari Gulma,62,has taken to teaching in primary schools as his post-retirement hobby.

Gulma,in Argungu on Sunday, said that prior to joining the judiciary sector in 1980, he had served as a teacher for 10 years. He stated that his love for teaching in a village school was to enable him contribute in raising the standard of education, considering the dearth of teachers The former judge explained that for this reason, he decided to resume teaching at the Fadama and Argungu Emirate Model primary schools in 2012, after his retirement.
