Kenya: Tanzania's Elizabeth 'Lulu' Michael to Star in New Film

AFTER her prolonged silence, controversial Tanzanian actress Elizabeth 'Lulu' Michael is seeking to make a major comeback.

The actress, who was alleged to be behind the death of one of Tanzania's prolific actors, Steven Kanumba, in April last year, will be launching a movie dubbed Foolish Age on August 30 at Milimani City, Dar es Salaam.

"Finally, I am making my return. I ask for all the support from my fans as I resume work," she said.

During the premiere, Bongo songstress Lady Jaydee, who was in Nairobi alongside Mali's afro-pop singer-songwriter Salif Keita last week, will entertain the audience alongside Machozi Band. Lulu has also starred alongside top Nollywood stars like Mercy Johnson, Ramsey Nuoah and Silvanus Nkiru.
