Deputy President William Ruto has cautioned elected leaders from Jubilee to distance themselves from the push for a constitutional referendum. He said the clamour for a referendum has sinister motives.
Ruto said the push for the referendum has nothing to do with devolution and empowerment of county governments. "It is political confusion meant to achieve parochial and selfish interest of those who lost in the (March 4) election," he said.
