Ethiopia: ERA Plans to Construct, Renovate 20,700km Roads

The Ethiopian Roads Authority (ERA) announced its target to construct and renovate close to 20,700km new and existing roads at a cost of 28.9 billion Br during the current fiscal year.

Lebu-Goro, DireDawa-Dewele, Lumame-Debre Markos, Gedo-Menebegna, Ambo-Woliso, Konso-Yabelo, Debrebirhan-Ankober, Ankober-Dulecha and Dulecha-Awash are among the new roads which will be constructed during the reported period, according to the press release issued by the Authority.
