THE national government has set aside Sh100 million to facilitate the rehabilitation of rural access roads in Busia. Speaking to the members of the press in Busia yesterday, the regional manager in charge of Kenya Rural Roads in Busia County Engineer Josphat Amadi said the rehabilitation of the rural roads will start any time.
Amadi called upon Busia residents who have constructed their business premises in the road reserves to demolish them to pave the way for the rehabilitation.
"Those who will fail to comply with the directive will face the law," Amadi said.
All the structures that have been built in the road reserves should be demolished as a matter of urgency in order to pave the way for the rehabilitation work which is expected to kick off ant time
