A ward representative from Githunguri constituency has asked the national and county governments to consider men while giving enterprise funds to women and the youth.
Ngewa ward representative Karungo wa Thangwa said the fund should be called Family Fund to empower men who want to develop projects. Thangwa was speaking yesterday to over a 100 farmers at Waruhiu Agricultural Training Center in Gakoe village. "The two governments should not discriminate against men, if they have a fund for women and youth then they should have a fund to empower the men too," he said.
Thangwa said he will propose a motion at the Kiambu county assembly over the same.
