Speaker of the House of People's Representatives, Abadula Gemeda on Thursday conferred with Foreign, Trade and Development Cooperation General Committee of House of Representatives of the Netherlands.
On the occasion, Abadula said the bilateral trade cooperation between the two countries is not as strong as their political ties and stressed the need to boosting the partnership.
He called on Dutch financiers to come to Ethiopia and invest in various sectors thereby exploiting the favorable investment climate in the country.
Abadula also underlined the need to strengthen cooperation between the parliaments of the two nations.
Head of the Netherlands delegation and Chairperson of the Committee, Raymond de Roon for his part said the two parliaments need to strengthen cooperation and share best practices.
He affirmed commitment to exerting maximum effort to convince Dutch financiers invest in Ethiopia.
