Kenya: Senator Downplays Power Vaccum

Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi has said the International Criminal Court trials will not create a leadership vacuum in the country. Speaking in Kiambu yesterday, he said President Uhuru and Deputy President William Ruto have honoured all their summons.

"The hypothetical prophetic profession of leaders saying a vacuum will be created in Kenya's leadership is neither here or there and based on no facts as there is nothing being done in secrecy as the whole world knows about the cases in the ICC," said Wamatangi.
