The National Oil Company of Liberia (NOCAL) has shortlisted more than 125 candidates who applied for its Master's Degree Foreign Scholarship Program for the 2013-2014 academic year.
According to a press release, the candidates who made the shortlist passed phase 1 of the scholarship candidate identification process.
The phase consists of applying two criteria to narrow the list of applicant down those eligible for further scholarship edibility.
The release disclosed that candidates were shortlisted for various disciplines, including Petroleum Finance/Accounting Petroleum, Engineering, Petroleum Economic, Petroleum Data Management, Chemical Engineering and Environmental Science.
Other areas include: Drilling Engineering, Geophysics, Geology, Petro- Physics and other general areas of study.
Meanwhile, the candidates who made this shortlist are advised to proceed to the Corporations Headquarters at the Episcopal Building (corner of Randal and Ashmun Streets) to undergo phase Two of the candidate selection process on the date assigned to the control number which was issued to them when the application was submitted.
