ECONOMIC activities ground to a halt for over one hour in Benin City, Tuesday, as a coalition of civil society organisations and students protested against the attitude of the Federal Government to the strike embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.
The protest came as President Goodluck Jonathan appealed to the leadership of ASUU to call off the strike.
